The Amazonian Pink River Dolphin is honored here in the artist's bold and dynamic composition. Traditionally within the Shipibo culture, it is believed that the Delfin Rosado resides in both the watering underworld, and the river itself. Ruling this otherworldly realm below, the dolphin is all powerful, and can communicate with every other animal and plant spirit, as well as the Shamans, only following their special ceremony of permissions.
